Image Settings

image settings

Image Settings are accessed in the Text Editor. Select the image by clicking on it. A selected image will be highlighted with 'handles' (boxes on each corner). Selecting the picture button will load the image settings screen.

Set the options as you want them and click Update to apply them.

  • Width / Height: Settings in pixels. A maximum image size (400px wide) ha s been preset for the website but you can scale within this size. This is not recommended because the image quality is reduced.
  • Border: Select to set a border around the image. The border are set in the style sheet.
  • Float: choosing left or right will cause the image to move to that side of the screen and enable the text to float around the image.
  • Margins: creates a space around the image. This is usually not needed as it is also set in the style sheet.
  • Title: The title of the image, this won't appear  in the website but is used to describe the image to people using adapted browsers.
  • Alternate text: this text does not appear in the website but is visible if the image doesn't load or if the visitor doesn't use images.
