Removing Page Content

Whole sections of content can be removed from the website. There are several ways to make content invisible in the website.

  • Edit the content to remove the section no longer needed
  • delete the entire content element
  • hide the content element
  • set a stop date for the content element.

Hiding the element or setting a stop date means an element stays visible in the Back End (BE) but not in the website. Elements that are hidden can be made visible again by unhiding or changing the stop date.

Deleting is the only way to remove an element entirely from the Editing area.
